Darrell Bosch |
Darrell Bosch grew up on a farm in Minnesota and spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer working in agriculture in Belize, Central America. After receiving his Ph.D., Professor Bosch joined the faculty in 1984. His current research interests include risk analysis, economics of nonpoint source pollution control, drinking water infrastructure management, watershed management, and greenhouse gas mitigation opportunities in agriculture. In 1992-93, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Economic Research Service, USDA in Washington, DC, where he studied the role of information in improving farmers' decisions affecting water quality. He teaches graduate courses in risk analysis, research project planning, and watershed management, and undergraduate courses in sustainable development economics and agricultural management and problem solving.
