Kurt Stephenson |
Kurt Stephenson joined the faculty in the fall of 1995. Kurt's research interests include water resource issues, the use of economic incentives in environmental policy, the role of economic analysis in environmental policy, and institutional economics. He is also interested in the development and use of innovative approaches to teaching economics.
Kurt's primary teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in natural resource and environmental economics and principles of economics.
He grew up in Southwest Virginia and enjoys fishing, canoeing, basketball, and spending time with the family (wife Lisa, daughter Brooke, and son Ty).
